This year, like every year, some of our team attended Integrated Systems Europe, often referred to as ISE – the world-renowned annual tech show for the Audio-Visual and systems integration industry.

Our industry turns to ISE for the inspiration and motivation required to drive things forward. At the four-day event each February, we, amongst almost 100,000 other attendees discover new, state-of-the-art technology from brands we know and brands we don’t! There were over 1,600 exhibitors across 8 different halls!

Lutron’s Intelligent lighting range:

Lutron introduced its latest Intelligent Lighting portfolio at ISE Barcelona 2026, showcasing a major evolution in how luxury lighting systems are designed and controlled. Unlike traditional lighting control, Intelligent Lighting embeds intelligence directly into the luminaires themselves – something I have discussed in my previous blogs.

The range combines several performance-driven lighting families, including the flagship Ketra system, which delivers industry-leading colour tuning capable of replicating natural daylight and producing highly personalised lighting scenes. The portfolio also incorporates architectural-grade fixtures through Orluna, strengthening Lutron’s offering in specification-level lighting design, alongside Lumaris and Rania, which provide high-quality tuneable white and warm-dimming solutions suited to everyday living spaces.

A key focus of Lutron’s launch was human-centric lighting and wellness. Intelligent Lighting allows homeowners to adjust colour temperature and intensity throughout the day, supporting comfort, ambience, and circadian rhythm alignment. Combined with wireless communication and cloud-based updates, the new platform represents a significant step forward in delivering fully integrated, adaptable lighting experiences within luxury smart homes.

Lutron’s New Palladiom Curtain Track:

This one is very exciting for us!! Lutron unveiled its new Palladiom curtain track system at ISE Barcelona 2026, expanding the iconic Palladiom range into fully automated drapery. Designed with the same minimalist aesthetic and engineering precision as the Palladiom blind collection, the system allows motorised curtains to integrate seamlessly with lighting, shading, and whole-home automation scenes.

The track supports straight and curved installations and works with a wide variety of curtain fabrics, giving interior designers complete creative flexibility. As well as enhancing privacy and comfort, automated curtains can respond to daylight levels and daily routines, helping improve energy efficiency while delivering a refined, fully coordinated window treatment solution.

 CANVAS HiFi:

CANVAS HiFi showcased its innovative high-performance soundbar, designed to deliver true hi-fi audio from a single, design-led TV speaker solution. Unlike conventional soundbars, CANVAS is engineered more like a traditional loudspeaker, featuring premium driver construction, advanced room correction, and BACCH 3D audio technology, which creates an expansive, highly immersive soundstage that extends well beyond the physical width of the speaker. And believe us when we say… it is truly expansive! We thought the sound was coming from the 2 TV flanking the demo TV too the sound profile was that wide!

Designed to integrate seamlessly with modern televisions, the CANVAS soundbar mounts directly beneath the screen to create a clean, architectural appearance while eliminating the need for separate speakers or bulky AV equipment. Its larger acoustic enclosure and passive bass radiators allow it to produce deeper, more controlled low-frequency performance than most soundbars, while customisable finishes help the system blend effortlessly into contemporary interior spaces.

Wisdom Audio, Screen research, MadVR and more…

Wisdom Audio and Screen Research delivered one of the most impressive private cinema demonstrations at ISE Barcelona 2026, showcasing a true reference-level home theatre experience. The demo combined Wisdom Audio’s concealed planar magnetic speaker system in an insane 11.8.8 set up (so the room has TWENTY SEVEN speakers installed…) with a Screen Research acoustically transparent masking screen, allowing the entire audio system to sit directly behind the image for fully immersive, cinema-grade performance and the screen automatically adjusted size for whatever picture output was being played.

The system was paired with a Barco RGB laser projector, madVR Envy Extreme video processing, and Trinnov immersive audio calibration, demonstrating how commercial-cinema technologies are now being adapted for ultra-high-end residential theatres. The result was a no-compromise, gut-rumbling, heart racing showcase of hidden design, extreme performance, and next-generation immersive cinema.
